Hungary: Summer Gypsy Games 2008 + Highlight Video
« on: February 29, 2008, 08:43:31 AM »
The OG Summer Gypsy Games is a week long non-profit event. It’s held every year in the city of Ajka, approximately 2 hours by train or car from Budapest the capital city of Hungary. The Gypsy Games is run and organised by the OG Bike Co. with many of their team riders including Adam Kun, Peter Sarlos, Markus Redlberger, Valter Guerreiro, Cory Fester, Effraim Catlow and OG Marton in attendance.

This year the Gypsy Games will take place on July 14 – 20.

Marton has just finished editing the first video of last year´s highlights with Shane´s audio commentary:

More video pieces to come next week.

Awesome! I will definitely be there again, last years Gypsy games was one of the best events of the year!! If you can make it do it, Hungary is really cheap, good weather, the vibe is great at the contest.

See you all there!!

----Does someone at OG work for the tourism industry ?! Ha-ha, it certainly looks/sounds like a good time, and I think we all know from the videos over the years that a lot of really good riders show up for that event every time. :)

Indeed. A few years back we had some Gypsy Games in August but it often rained. The weather is much more stable in July with less/no rain.

Trevoro, we hope you can come next year. If you need any info, just let me know.
