Marvelous looking frame.
Can anyone tell me why there's a low end and high end model in different sizes? it doesn't make sense to me.
Where's the A Bad Thing promo vid? Gonna need to see a promo vid.

Hey !
Well we made two version of the frame to make everybody happy. You can choice the price and the size.
Actually it's the same if you buy a car. You can buy a Hungarian Trabant car or a Porsche Turbo with Nitro add. ;D
Those frame are really worked out, everything is made to be as light as possible without been broked.
we could make a less good quality frame cheaper and blah blah blah but the goal of the concept is to make high quality part. We actually had the choice cuz KOXX can just do everything they want with bike parts.

About the video, we have a project, we want to put one part of a rider of the team every Two week. Alexis, Then Alex then Raph then Me or whatsoever...  but we just received the production now. we couldn't make a promo video with the prototypes.

waiting for it, here you can find a small links of Alex J. during our trip in koweit.

Well, if you have any question about the frame, or about me, my girlfriend number or the real talent of Alain M., just contact me: matthias.dandois@free.fr

More sex, more people and more riding at myspace.com/abadthing

Peace everybody.
Matthias

The Trabant cars (if you can call them cars) are originally from Eastern Germany. You can find some really sh*tty ones in Hungary, though.. remember, Matthias? Orvos vagy?

Yeah, the ex-comunist countries were producing some legendary cars back in the day. Dacia in Romania, Skoda 120 in the Czech Republic, Traband and Wartburg in Eastern Germany... Some of these vehicles are the real gypsy cars nowadays

We drive these in America.

I'm beginning to think you Americans have money to burn. Firstly, you make the thirstiest engines [gas guzzlers] the world has ever seen. Then you have way too many oversized vehicles that you like to call pickup trucks. Then you also make the biggest vehicles I have ever seen, including some monster looking six wheelers, and a bunch of other 'pickups'. Then, if thats not enough, you make square unaerodynamic box fronts on your vans or people movers, like in the picture.

I would be interested in the difference of fuel consumption of US people movers compared to Japanese and European people movers. I bought an American Ford Explorer 4x4 once, and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. It used twice as much fuel as both of my Japanese 4x4's.
The combined bad design of US engines and aerodynamics of some vehicles is enough reason to start a war for oil.

^^^  Dem's fightin' words..!!  But no self-respecting man can say that the Shelby GT-500 is not one of the finest, sexiest and downright awesomestest cars ever produced from the warehouses of Detroit.   *cue Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor's grunt*

actually that vehicle picture is a Japanese Scion (Toyota) Xb. It is tiny. Very tiny. And very fuel efficient. There is such a huge push in the USA for more effecient vehicles, hybrids, alternative fuels, etc. The US Congress just passed new fuel efficiency requirements for vehicles that are going to to turn the automotive industry upside down in the next 10 years. oh, you should not have bought that Ford Explorer. Those are pieces of s-h-i-t :)

OK, my mistake on that car,I haven't seen one before. Its a very good thing that there is a push for more fuel efficient cars in the US. Hybrids have made there way to Australia over the past few years, Toyota being one of them. Its all good, if engines become more fuel efficient every year, its progression in the right direction.
In Australia, we have available LPG [liquid petroleum gas] which is a by product of the manufacture of petrol from oil, its said to be more environmentally friendly, but opinions differ on that too.

I'm not knocking all US cars. Nothing wrong with the Shelby. I really like 70's and 80's
Trans ams, Corvettes and Camaros, but they too are pretty thirsty cars.
Its just that they have a long history of being less fuel efficient than other countries vehicles.
Its all an environmental issue.

In Europe we have something called the 'euro standards'. Cars built in a particular year must follow up the rules implied by the euro-5 standard, or euro-6 standard, etc etc...

Cars built in 2010 should produce no more than 120gr of co2 per 100km (60miles). Every car a manufacturer builds that emits more than this norm, they are fined a particular amount of money.
This way, cars are being forced to be cleaner and better for the environment.

Is there something similar for the U.S.?

Yeayea nice frame  ;D

sorry for being off topic... but if you saw the beating my dads ford f350 dump truck takes... you wouldn't be so hasty on bashing an american truck.... I've seen that dump truck knock down a huge tree before... with out damage/dents to the truck.... im not a ford fan by any means, but man... those dump trucks sure can take a beating... more so than the guy who helps my dad on the sides toyota....
As for those frames... They look nice, but what ever happened to brake mounts? are those a thing of the past? does anyone even rock the rear brake anymore besides bootnie-lee-farnsworth?

i want that mr jowee. when i was buying my car i was sooo about to get a wrangler. it would be nice for winter here, plus i would be all about takin the roof and doors off and having a lift kit and 35's and omg i still want it. but they are kind of expensive, esp for how much i have heard they take in maintainance. i got a jetta instead. its manual so i just pretend im in a truck. i love it but seeing that, i want a truck before the whole world has to ride bikes(which wouldnt be so bad, less fat people so europe doesnt make fun of us as much)

also, since this is a thread about a bad thing frames, i would want the one that is heat treated but in the size of the one that isnt. its ok because i love the frame i have but if i didnt, i would be in a pickle because that is suuuuuch a sick frame

Kinda funny coming from a guy who made fun of everyone when they got there Xb's and now your riding on the Scion xb d*i*c*k.   I bet you forgot about that one, I didn't.

Its all true. I hate when I'm jealous, and I look like Mobey. Character flaws deeply ingrained in my persona. I'm glad I have friends (like Scott) who still accept me, even though I hate on everyone and look funny.

I have been a passenger in both Mickey's Xb and Scott's Element. The Element was definitely an upgrade. I was never a fan of them until I spent some time in Scott's.
