On a newer video it sounded like a riders rear wheel was clicking when they were riding around as if they have a cassette but then during back wheel tricks there pedals aren't spinning when rolling backwards.
Am I imagining the noise? Or maybe the sound is coming from somebody off camera, I don't know. Just curious to see if somebody has designed a cassette freecoaster hybrid that I hadn't heard about yet. Or maybe they had a playing card or something similar that was hitting the spokes causing the noise?
I'll try to find which video I remember hearing this in, I can't remember at the moment.

probably a freecoaster based on pawls design and not clutch principle like the Nankai or KHE style freecoaster (and many other)
ie: see at 3:32 regarding the Z-coaster Profile hub =

Could it be that the cameraman is riding on a bike with a cassette?
-
Hahah I think it's that Z-coaster. Wow first time seeing that hub in action.

Thanks guys, I'm betting it was the z coaster. Seems pretty cool.
-
The FEC freecoaster clicks like a cassette too.

I have a Madera Gulf freecoaster which is essentially the same as a Z-Coaster, it's pretty fun but I think needs setting up with more slack for my tastes.
-
Im much happier with my FEC compared to the Zcoaster when I had it. Something must have been off with profile hubs that month because both the front and rear hub rolled like dog sh*
The FEC is stupid light and rolls for days

I'd like to try the Z Coaster some time...just for kicks.
But otherwise, I've really grown to love the silence and stealth of a freecoaster.
When I first started riding again..and finally bit the bullet and went new school, I'd have nothing to do with freecoasters. I'm glad I got over that stupid bump in my head. In the beginning, I just couldn't get over the slack. It bugged the sh*t out of me. Now I love it.

Hello,
the last discussion is a bit longer now, but I wanted to take this opportunity to ask what you have to consider when buying tyres and how you can distinguish good tyres from bad ones.
After all, I am looking for tyres that last a long time and offer good performance.
I would appreciate any advice and answer!
Many thanks in advance!
