Title: Cliffhanger - pumping
Post by: Corsini on May 07, 2015, 12:37:54 PM
Hi! Does anyone of you guys know how to pump a cliffhanger? I have a trouble doing it for a while, so a little tip would be helpful ;)

//I don't want to create another topic so I'll just ask here - any chance someone knows how to do steamroller turbines, plasticman or fast hitchiker spin? I can do all of these tricks (steamroller turbines - let's just say almost, but I can't land it properly), but I can't do spins, turbines and pumping.

Been fighting this same issue for a while myself.

I noticed when I got a lighter newer rig it made it responsive enough to pump a little more.

I try to run a mild zig zag but still barely get them

Well it seems like your first problem is that you can't do more basic tricks such as:

You need to learn, at the very least, how to pump steamrollers. If you can't pump they you won't figure out how to pump cliffhangers. It's trial and error.

I can pump regular steamrollers but when I have my both feet on the pegs it feels different and I just can't control it. I tried zigzags like lowkeyfilmz1 did and I think I might have speed up a little bit but not enough. Could bending my knees help?

Cliffhanger was the first trick I learned how to pump. Imaginary circle on the ground. Carve in and out. Slowly at first then as u get the hang of it, you can go faster and faster.

Still fighting the same thing, I can finally pump circle hang 5's but still trying to hold on to hikers for more than 10 seconds.
