I know someone who tried running them but kept blowing out the sidewalls. Keep in mind, these are the same design/tire as the peregrine HP tires and are only rated at 85psi(that was considered "hp" back then), so it depends on how you like to run your tires. He had his at 100-110.

I'd run about 80ish anyway. looking to ride flat and ramps though if that makes a difference. if I'm better off riding frequency g's I'll stick to them instead.

i'd say stick with the g's or go with the ares 1.9's

I've been running them at 90-100psi without any issues so far. Granted, i havent got alot of riding in this season between my move and renovations and my side work.

They're cool to see again but I'm not sure what the draw is. They weren't popular 28 years ago either.

Humm, I don't know about that...
I have seen them up close (original ones) and they seem very good.
Weren't they the 1st, or one of the 1st high pressure tires? They are highly valued by the oldschool community.

Hi,
I was riding the original ones in the early 90s. As far as I remember those were labelled to be ready for 100 psi. I never had any problems with them and I think I used 100 psi. But maybe these new ones are different.

Hi.
It was my favorite tires at the end of the eighties. (the design was slightly different). Some month ago I've got a pair. I prefere the panaracer compared to the odsy. They have more grip. I don't like to ride with ultra high pressure. So they are good for me and I don't have any trouble. Some people tried to inflate the panaracer very high (like it's possible with odsy) and the tire exploded. So if you like grippy tires without ultra high pressure, it should be ok.

rl edge were 100psi, peregrine/panaracers were 85psi. I loved them bitd, but like someone else said "they pattern is slightly changed. also, i was 125 in 87 so 85psi was fine. I'm 190 now so I need them as hard as I can to roll...
