any news on the Profile freecoaster ( I need a new hub bad ,and gonna have to get Ezra or Vocal very soon as I cant deal with my hub much longer as its too dangerous and seems to hate when I least expect it)
-
Just buy a new hub that's out now. Don't wait around for the profile to come out since there always seems to be issues with production and delays. I like the new NYB myself.
-
good advice Metal, got a new frame on its way that will be just begging for a new 14mm hub and anyway the profile in all truth will probably be very expensive.
-
I believe the salt hub is a similar set up as the ezra and cheaper

I've got the (black OG) colony coaster on my boys street bike and has had it for prolly 9 months not one drama
I've just laced up the rainbow colony on my flattie and it's RAD I know they are a khe copy but I think they run smoother for some reason
-
i rode tylers profile coaster and tried chads, both coasters felt great but they didnt even know a release date
-
they say it will be released late summer -_-
im waiting for it bt still no info about it -_-
they are all talks

Would you rather have two very awesome dudes/riders test a product to make absolutely sure that it is up to Profile Racing's standards, or would you like it to be released on the market prematurely and there be any issues?
My 48 hole steel hub shell Nankai will last until it comes out.......

I've seen many cracked aluminum flanges, never a steel one..

just dont rely on profile to release its freecoaster this year.
maybe next 2years though or never haha

This one was steel. I just wanna know what rims and spokes the kid had. must be very strong that the hub gave out before the spokes broke or the rim pulled through...

Yep for sure not this year

It took a couple of years, since we seen it at interbike 2013 (https://www.global-flat.com/smf/index.php?topic=59360.msg454810#msg454810), but it looks like it's finally here.
Seen at Frostbike, the Profile Z-Coaster is said to be released March 15!
