Not much BMX at interbike and if there is it is all street and dirt, ramp stuff and not much in flatland..why even go!
Costs too much to get in and not much to see and is boring after 20 minutes!

The new brake design by fly seems very interesting.
No springs in the brake itself? Springs are now part of the cable assembly?
What ever happened to the S&M freecoaster?

That white Intrikat frame is a work of art. I've wanted a white frame for years. I think this is the one.
The Fly brakes are very interesting. Novel idea, but why would an external spring be better than the ones in the arms? I'm a bit suspicious, they used to make brakes with a similar looking external spring that actually attached behind the arms. You had to bend it out to get more spring tension. They were called caliper brakes, and they pretty much sucked. These might be something completely different, but that was the first thing I thought of when I saw them.

Springfield brake and Ghost brake pads

A few days ago we showed you the new Eclat Blind freecoaster. Now ridebmx visited Eclat at the Interbike to check their new products. Most of them are not flatland specific but they also show the freecoaster.. (http://www.global-flat.com/upload/media/2012-09-20-14-40-31eclat.jpg)

Already mentioned, Eclat is going high tech with it's parts, check these forks with completely hydro-formed legs, that means the whole leg is formed into that shape including the dropout .. sweet!

Kink also has some new brakes with a unique pulling system.
You cam also see a prototype lever in the pic:

These Eastern prototype forks were already shown at Eurobike, also hydro-formed except for the dropouts I think. Not to much details yet but they look funky.

The new shadow interlock chain looks allot better. But I would still only ride a single link in combination with a regular chain.
The Eastern fork appears to be a cheaper fork aimed at complete bikes rather than the high end. As while there is allot that could be done in the field, its clear by the shape that the detailing that would be invested into high end forks has not gone into this.
The Ezra coaster looks ... dull. But then again all coasters only look good from the inside. Personally I would prefer to have seen it with matching flange heights, just to remove any issues relating to spoke length. And also wished that all 1pc sprockets were universal in some aspects so we could see a greater range of interchangeable options as that could lead to more choice for consumers and int urn allow a greater range of sprocket sizes become available. I am super into 11T sprockets right now ... but the chances of finding a newly made coaster with such sizes available are somewhere close between zero and none.

Maybe I have finally found a fork I can be into with that Intrakat fork. Appears to be drilled for a caliper brake? Or is that just for "lightness"(aka, useless hole)? I also understand that they are 13mm offset, which is perfect for me. I love the strands, but don't want the 990 mounts and the cable routing slot in the back of the steerer tube makes it impossible to drill out for a caliper.
I hope it has a super long steer tube...175 to 185mm.
The Fly brake system looks pretty trick, but it appears to be only chainstay mounted...which makes running a tiny "flatland friendly" sprocket impossible.
Actually, it's funny too see so many new braking systems. Who uses brakes anymore? :P

I'm still waiting to have actual freecoaster issues before I jump on the new freecoaster wagon. >:D

KINK also had some pedals that are very similar to the Animal prototypes, a bearingless hollow axle but with a socket connection on the end to tighten it..
