Title: Dans Comp beginner Bikes good?
Post by: GraveMT91 on April 18, 2012, 04:53:32 AM
Hey everyone, Im new to flatland, interested in learning, and i wanted to buy a good beginners bike....but i dont have much cash to spend. The bikes within my spending limit would be the 2012 FICTION SAGA, and the 2012 BLACK EYE RENEGADE bikes from DansComp.
I dont know if either of those would be good for flatland, whether it be the length of the tubetop that is to long, or is it too heavy? would either of those work? anyone recommend them?
thanks

hi, welcomed to g-flat.
it would be helpfull and usefull if you could tell us your height and weight?
height (some-what determines the toptube length), while weight will indicate what sort of parts will be suitable - heavy weight - heavy duty, feather weight - pro-spec/ comp specific parts and such...
the only advice i will give off-hand will be to invest in a good set if wheels (+ freecoaster).

I am 5'6" and 120lbs
My price range for a bike would be roughly around the $200 area if possible
