Hey,
I have been playing with the idea of turning my old Geisha freecoaster into a female hub. The only thing I couldn't find are the axle bolts that need to be 3/8" with 26 tpi thread. Apparently, all the hub bolts come only in 24 or 16 tpi.
Anyone ever heard of 26 tpi 3/8 axle bolts?
Thanks!

This one for example :

But I'm sure you can find class 12.9 bolts...

Thanks!
Actually, those were the only ones I could find but they are way too short in my opinion. Thanks anyway!

If you convert to a "female hub", how do you propose you would tighten the cones?

of couse, press system like Blue Six concept.

Exactly.

That still doesn't adjust the bearing preload in the manner that tightening cones with cone nuts does.
That's why the new Greyhound freecoaster looks so good. A true female axle with the ability to set bearing preload with actual nuts, not just winging it until your pegs are tight.

Thanks for the offer but I've had problems with Ti hardware so I'll pass.

Just found another pair of steel 15mm socket bolts that I had on my old giesha that is sitting in the cupboard
If that's any better
