All the 4 Master judges can post their votes, but only the first 3 are valid!

We need another judge!

EDERSON NENE-BRASIL gets my vote.

Despite doing only one front wheel trick, NENE's backwheel tricks and switches are much harder than Dustyn's stuff.

EDIT: Nene, be careful with repeating tricks or links, that peg wheelie/inside peg wheelie jump looks sick but not 4 times in a row.

Nene, cuidado com a repetição das manobras ou links. Aquele pulo de peg wheelie pro outro lado e vice versa é muito da hora mas quando é feito 4 vezes consecutivas fica meio chato.

EDERSON NENE-BRASIL for sure. His links were clean and the combos flowed nicely. Although I agree with VojTECH about the repeatative trick. But overall, EDERSON NENE-BRASIL had a great run and so did Dustyn@Chemnitz. Great job to both of you!

Post by: 2flat2furious on June 16, 2011, 07:42:11 PM
Nene wins it. His stuff was just way harder than Dustin's. Dustin had variety, but his one rear wheel link looks really sketch and his front wheel link wasn't difficult at all.

Post by: VojTECH on June 18, 2011, 11:15:58 AM
I vote for Molo.

Freshmaker411 only did front wheel stuff and there was quite a lot of repetition in terms of  tricks and links. On the other hand, Molo didn't repeat anything and did tricks on both front and back wheel. Also, I find Molo's stuff more difficult and original.

Molo
fairly close, however for the overall flow and the variety of tricks, Molo takes this one.

Ondo and Martin, thanks for inviting me to be a part of this.

I'm a little late, just catching up now. It looks like the first battle is decided, so no need for my vote there. What a good battle though, both Ederson Paulo and Dustyn Alt shredded. Stoked.

I'm going to watch the next battle now, I'll be right back.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (freshmaker411 vs Molo)
Post by: cj on June 18, 2011, 06:01:19 PM
I like how freshmaker411 started his run, the casual one-hand steam turbine link was dope.

I also was impressed by how molo started his run with a huge banger and linked front to back wheel very smoothly.

Overall, for this battle I think molo takes the win.

Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: cj on June 19, 2011, 12:58:11 AM
TAKU- amazing style, lovin' the spinning 5's

moya- impressive range, the variety of moves and technical difficulty is pro level. Some creativity as well! Frameplant Hang5, right on.

In my opinion moya is moving on to the next round.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: Rad255 on June 19, 2011, 01:56:24 AM
Man this is really really close but I'm going to have to go with TAKU. His style was just more original.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: 2flat2furious on June 19, 2011, 03:44:39 AM
sh*t, this is hard.

On one hand, you have some seriously wild originality from Taku. Moya was original too, but it was original riding in the form of switches, but not really "conceptual" originality. I can think of riders doing similar things to moya, but not so much from Taku. So Taku wins in originality.

Difficulty, I'd say both were about even. I think Moya's jump from crackpacker to cliffhanger is nice, but honestly I think Taku's backwards steamroller jump to wheelchair is just as difficult (I've done steamroller jump to spinning cliff, and crackpacker isn't that far off, and I've also done Taku's jump although I used brakes). So, tie here.

Variety, Moya is going to win a bit by a hair here, but I don't think it's enough to offset the factor of originality of Taku. Figure Moya wins by some arbitrary number like, 5 points, but Taku gets 10 points for originality. Hope that makes sense?

Overall, I have to give my vote to Taku. It was a super close battle, but I feel as though Moya's stuff is right on the cusp of being something really unique, while Taku is already there.

Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: VojTECH on June 19, 2011, 08:03:00 AM
Very tight battle but I have to go with TAKU.

His stuff might look a bit repetitive but, on the other hand, his overall style is more original than Moya's (who did some interesting switches though). As for difficulty, I'd say TAKU wins here by the slightest margin possible, especially thanks to that brakeless jump to crackpacker.

Anyway, great riding from both of you guys.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: crabbypaddy on June 19, 2011, 08:48:07 AM
this is just me, but all i saw from taku was two spinning hang-5s, switchhanded steamroller variations and the awesome crackpacker at the end... what is it with everyone and switchhanded steamrollers? because although taku's riding looked better, it is much easier to tell that Moya was doing different tricks, and i had to replay taku alot to find out he was doing more than just steamroller variations... :/ i'm a noob rider, so that could just be me

.. or mabye i'm just sick of seeing switchhanded steamrollers most of the time lol

taku was a better rider in this vid to me, but only because his riding looks aesthetically better and longer links. but Moya looks like he has alot more variety

Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: Flatism® on June 19, 2011, 10:46:26 AM
This is a really tough call on this one!!!
but TAKU "just" pipped Moya in this one for me.
Moya provides variety using the front & back wheel. however,
Taku's natural overall execution deceives you into thinking what he's doing does look easier!

Taku takes it, just!

Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (TAKU vs Moya-1)
Post by: MICHELE on June 19, 2011, 01:00:28 PM
i don't understand were is all this originality in taku vid, i'm not saying this in a disrespectful way because he is a great rider but i would change the word taku is more original than moya whit
taku is faster than moya.
great riding from both.

Luke- clean, powerful style, lots of control. Many tricks in one minute. The last combo was bad ass, especially in that tight garage.

Mark- oh man that first combo was sooo nice. The spring right to pegs whip lash hiker move was another beaut.

Imo Luke Malone is moving on.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (Luke vs Theory)
Post by: 2flat2furious on June 19, 2011, 06:31:55 PM
Going to have to go with Luke, but only by a hair. I think if Theory had thrown in another link on par with the difficulty of his other tricks instead of allowing the video to have run up time as he rode into and out of tricks he would have won it.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (Luke vs Theory)
Post by: Rad255 on June 19, 2011, 08:53:06 PM
That boomerang to hang 5 that Luke did was pretty tight but I'm going to have to give it to Theory. Once again there was just a bit more originality in his run,
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (Luke vs Theory)
Post by: VojTECH on June 19, 2011, 10:06:26 PM
Luke gets my vote.

There was more variety in his vid and his stuff was slightly more difficult in my eyes. Theory's links were more original but he could have put 1 or 2 more in the vid. Very tight battle with great riding from both guys.

Post by: VojTECH on June 20, 2011, 12:09:25 PM
I vote for spike443.

Maxandre did one link with some hard switches but most of his run was built around only a few concepts. Spike 443 did both fron and rear wheel stuff with hard and original switches including all kinds of tricks therefore I think he should go to the next round.

Not disagreeing, but what is your opinion about using different skill sets like scuffing, brakes, etc.  Not just rolling or whatever.  Or variety(use of rear, upside down, etc)?

Anyway...this is why I'm not really qualified to judge.  Just my thoughts.

I loved both videos...sh*t is just WAY hard at this level.

What criteria are the judges looking for?  Judges?

Maxandre- Great style, lots of control. One flowing link full of sweet tricks.

spike443- especially stoked on the switch blade death truck, bad ass.

This one goes to Maxandre in my opinion.

It's a bit pointless to open polls right now, since the competition is going really fast and there are A LOT of battles!

As it was on last round too, if you sign up as a judge, you can reserve your spot  and send in the video when your battle comes! That's just a reason to take the judges job!

I'm on the fence about this one. On one hand Spike has a huge volume of tricks and variety, with only a few things being very difficult. On the other, Maxandre didn't really do anything that really impressed me either.

sh*t, I gotta think about this.

Yes, Moya if you would like to be a judge next time - sure, no problem. You will get a spot in your class..

..I didn't just make it up, it was posted when the sign up started!

ROUND 5
"We will have 5 judges for each class. I will choose the most trustful community members! In return, I grant a spot in a class, the judge would like to participate. (He won't be judging the class he's riding)"
http://www.global-flat.com/smf/index.php?topic=46843.0 (http://www.global-flat.com/smf/index.php?topic=46843.0)

http://www.global-flat.com/smf/index.php?topic=39959.0 (http://www.global-flat.com/smf/index.php?topic=39959.0)

and this goes back to ROUND 3

Spike443 gets my vote.

Maxandre showed a nice long link with a good level of difficulty and style but Spike showed a lot more in his video, both wheels, more links, originality. Maxandre should have tried squeezing another link in there... but based on what I saw in these videos Spike should move on.

Great riding by both

Ronny. Mostly because of the half whip and rocket 360. Prasheel had some hard switches though no doubt.

As a judge though, I'm really dubious of the selection of who is going through and when. This is the second time I've felt as though the battles were being "arranged" so that some people didn't have to battle others down the line.

Ronny gets my vote.

I really like Prasheels hard original switches,he really put up a good fight, great style here, but Ronny was able to show a lot more switches and links and some really hard stuff like that halfwhip, I wish you both could move on cause there is a lot more to see here...

I vote for Ronny Engelmann @ Kassel.

Both guys had some difficult tricks and switches but Ronny's run was just more packed.

it's MICHELE and Kidd left too.. and I haven't drawn the next battle yet.

Yes, I admit I use my judge priorities to film my run later, but don't worry, I'm just gonna pull some regular combos. Not like stuff that I land just once in 5 hours :)

Again, such a tight battle, both extremely talented riders!
Ronny is moving on up. He's hustling the geez out of those combos with "just" that little bit extra!
Pralex is on it, but Ronny goes through imo on the account I've just made.

Damn... the riding from both these guys is so hype that it feels like it's the final round already. Ronny edges it out just barely for bringing slightly more rare stuff into the mix with some of the tricks in dropped... Prasheel's run was sick as always, but it was like watching a fighter and a boxer go at it, and the fighter got the one or two shots in to close it with a k.o. before the boxer could get the decision.  ;D

Ronny- Awesome riding, very aggressive.

Prasheel- Buttery smooth. Making it look too easy man, but you can't trick me, some really tough switches in there.

Prasheel is my choice to advance.

I'm not a judge, but I think both these guys would make the pro class very nervous if they entered.
Sick to death, both Ronny and Prasheel- totally different styles, equally impressive to me.

Kidd- Cool rear wheel links, especially psyched on the switch into double foot backyard. I would have liked to see the first one all the way through, looks like a dissolve cut some of it out.

MICHELLE- Nice collection of tricks, serious tough moves. Stoked on each set. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this!

For this battle, MICHELLE is my choice to move on to the next round.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (Kidd vs MICHELE)

MICHELE gets my vote.

The first Kidd's link looks like it wasn't pulled clearly. Also, his stuff was easier than MICHELE's and his links kind of predictable, i. e. I always knew what he was gonna do next.
Title: Re: ROUND 5: MASTER class (Kidd vs MICHELE)

Ondo- Wide variety of tricks. The Half Packer Turbine Backwards 1/2 Boomerang into Crack Packer was dope.

Misterpola- Nice flow. Real stoked on the 1-hand Turbine Whiplash.

Another close call, I say Ondo rides away with the win though.

Vote goes to Misterpola.

1 handed whiplashes are really hard, the last link was wicked...You both did basicly the same rear wheel link (Ondos being a bit better). In the end Gonzalo comes on top with his run...

You both were great..Congrats!

excelent point. I've tried alot of pedal tricks.,and the one thatd id say would actually give him a problem is the regular turbine pedal wheelie. theres something about the pedal pressure and angle that makes that trick want to engage the coaster more so than any other trick i've tried. this is a tough one.

My vote goes to EDERSON NENE-BRASIL

This battle was very very close. But Nene has some really hard switches and jumps. Both showed variety and skill but Nenes run was a bit more difficult in my opinion.Plus Molo repeated some stuff from the last round. Im closing my eyes on the fact that he doesnt have a chain cause some of that stuff is impossible without a properly working freecoaster (I have the same problem).

You both are on a super high level :)

Not an easy task scoring these masters.

Ederson- Stoked on the flow, sweet links and dope tricks. I can't help but think there's a slight advantage riding with out a drive train, especially for the first pedal time machine.

Molo- That Switch Rocket 5 is gnarly, nice Stubbleducks also.

I feel Molo is the winner here

Man, I really want to give it to Nene, but if he doesn't have a drive train I'm going to have to say Molo wins it. They were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO close. Nene's rear wheel flow is just unreal, and his front to back to front to back stuff was just awesome. I really liked some of those hops.

Molos stubbleducks and the barhop straight to halfpacker were just sick though.

Man, I really wish I hadn't been held back because of injury. I would have loved to go head to head with the heat that's in the master class now. Good sh*t fellas.

that's unfair. I respect the guidelines but anyways.

You see the result. More votes for him.
Nene did this round better than me.

I had the same sh*t in Montepellier. I became second because of a mistake of the judges.
They told me they were sorry but at the end I was only second.

I will not be responsible that the same thing happen twice.

For me Nene goes next.

Seriously, his run is perfect, he seems to have the complete control of his bike. TAKU has control too, but he hasn't done any back wheel tricks or only a few. And, Luke has done the same amount of front and back wheel trick and a Backpacker!!!, that is one of the most difficult tricks ever!

It depends on how original something is. A minor variation isn't really original, while transitions in movement that nobody else is doing can be. I didn't see a lot of stuff in Taku's video that screamed "original" to me, but I didn't see anything in Lukes video that was original either.

Haha... you're right! I only saw it once or twice, but it came to mind watching Spike and Ronny's edits. Judges will have to determine whose weapons win out..

Have to go with Ronny here and I'll explain why.

Spikes stuff is hard. It's not that original, but a lot of it is very difficult. However, it's not difficult in the same way that ronny's is difficult. Ronny's tricks are things that you are really only going to be able to do if you have worked on a series of tricks of the same theme for a very long period of time. Spike's stuff really isn't like that. For example, I don't think you can really do turbined pedal megaspin without scuffing to rollaid without first being very comfortable in a number of megaspin variations, as well as having rollaids absolutely dialed. With spikes stuff, say deathtruck to coasting stick b, I don't see that as being a switch that's going to take as many steps to learn as what Ronny did.

I don't know if any of that makes sense, but the devil is in the details in this one.

Ronny Engelmann @ Kassel gets my vote.

I have to agree with TJ here. Both guys have done hard stuff in their vids but Ronny's tricks/links just require much more prerequisites before one can actually learn them.

For me this is real tough to compare, two totally different styles but both bad ass. Real stoked how both riders crammed a ton of tricks into 90 seconds.

spike 443- Lots of skills, wide variety of bike positions, cool variations. No Handed Forwards Rope, One Handed Undertaker, nice.

Ronny- Awesome style, well rounded; rockin' front and rear links. Not sure why there is cross-fades between a few of those clips; maybe to hide touches or to jam more tricks into 90 seconds. I'm going to go with the latter. I also can't tell if there's a functional transmission on that bike, I see cranks but can't tell if there's a chain and saw no cranking action. That pedal Megaspin turbine isn't nearly as tough without a working tranny, but dope either way, especially linked to the foot jam Decade. So many bad ass front wheel switches that I can't list them all. Real stoked on the turbine Hang Ten.

For this battle I think Ronny is the victor.

Giving this one to Spike 443

Difficulty: Ronny 7/10 Spike 7/10
Style:      Ronny 6/10 Spike 6/10
Originality: Ronny 6/10 Spike 7/10
Touches: Ronny 2...   Spike 0!

Is ronny w/o a chain??

Further comments and answers to the following questions:

There was no particular order in my above listed critera!

My interpetation of style is: an overall execution encompassing all of the critera components.

Ronny touches at least twice!! maybe possibly 3 times...please recheck around the  1.09-1.10,  and a third a few seconds from the end!?)

Bike control: Spike 9/10 Ronny 8/10 because of the minor dabs!

I'm sorry, but how are you a judge?

What touches are you even referring to? Do you even understand what I wrote about varying degrees of difficulty? Did you even watch the videos?

I know Ronny already won without this vote so what you say is inconsequential, but I think anyone that imagines touches in video battles should never be allowed to judge a thing.

EDIT:

Also, STYLE? Really?

Again, who the f*ck are you and why are you judging?

If style is ONE of your four judging parts then what do you think this is? This isn't a fashion show. I really hope that you are referring to stuff like execution and how safe the combos seem but I am not sure about that.

to clearify something: no, ronny is not without a chain. So don't hesitate about that, but I am sure ronny will speak for himself too.

and I would like to know which touches you are referring to?  The one slight slide over the floor that didn't affect the combo at all?

saying that he touched 2 probably 3 times just seems to me as if you did not take the time to look at the videos how it is supposed to be.

it's cool that you wanted to help out with the judging, but if you want to do it, do it right

I didn't see any touches..

And I know style is hard to define, but we think alike I hope. Anyway, if something like style is judged, it should be in 5 point scale - not as important as others.

as from the first rounds, the criteria was:

bike control
difficulty
originality

and I would add - variety as progress..

style is meant the bike control?

In my case I meant that his style shows that he is on top of his tricks and he knows whats he doing by doing hard variations of some easier tricks for example by turbining a double foot hang 5.
Or did a pick the word for it hh ^_^

Bmxism, I seriously don't think those were actual touches... I can see how they could be mistaken for dabs, but the motion of Ronny's body and bike didn't "twitch" the way it does when someone actually puts weight down and dabs during a trick. That, and the fact that I'm almost certain Ronny can reshoot and hit any tricks he might have touched on during filming easily. I think he takes his riding seriously enough to have too much pride in submitting half-assed footage. Just something to consider.

HAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh....I dont even know how to respond to bmxism. I know that this is a discussion of relevance, but what im confused about is how you could take such a beautifully flowing style, one that appears to be done without effort...and NOT consider it just amazing. Ronny is by far one of my favorite riders because he does tricks that not alot of people do, in a really unique way. Take the pedal spin he did....it *looked* like he was on the peg. Not because he was, but because he had the position so correct that he spun with ease. He has that riding style where his body is always where it should be, so he doesnt have to flail or put extra finesse just to whip out or transition into something. It looks effortless.

The amount of transitions and switches in some of the combo's combined with no breaks equates to higher difficulty in my flatland logic.

I dont have a real vote, but if i did it would be to vote bmxism out.

Shoutout to luke for his ridiculous control. Those boom's to hang 5's are superb. And as much as I love rayk's style, I thought nene won the last one, regardless of the chain :) But kudo's to both for such good sportsmanship!

Yeah, Ronny slayed it.  He had me on difficulty, for sure.  I think the votes I got were either New England guys or people who just prefer my "style" (a preference, like blondes vs. brunettes).  Which is another way of saying execution and technique.  E.g. How I do a trick that is distinctly different than someone else.  It's an undeniable part of the package, but I beat myself up for perhaps relying on it too much.

As far as difficulty, I always think the hardest trick is the one I can't do.  If I nail it just once, I know I can own it.  Just a matter of time.

Through this, I've received really positive insight into where I can improve, and in having to watch myself ride, some geat insight to how to improve, as well as trick ideas.  It was also so fun pushing myself to ride as much as possible and the time spent with my wife and kid filming.

Ronny, take care, take time to heal and stay healthy.  You want to be ripping as hard as you do now, when you're my age!  :)

Thanks to the riders and judges and most of all Ondo for making this happen.  Can we vote to double what he's making?

New England riders, see you this weekend at the Flatland Fracas!

Man, I'm long-winded.

Rich

Jesus. Christ.

Out of all the battles I've ever seen on here, this one has to be by FAR the hardest I've ever had to make a decision on.

Both of you are doing the hardest tricks I've ever seen on here. All the whip sh*t that Michele is doing is so god damn hard, but Misterpolas whiplash variations are things I honestly think are some of the most difficult I've ever seen. Whiplash to nosewheelie to turbined jumplash land switch footed is SERIOUS. Then again, 360 tiretap to bunnywhip is also f*cking bonkers.

sh*t. I know you two are going to hate this, but I need more time to rewatch them and decide. I want you both to go through, but I know it doesn't work like that.

edit: I think I'm going to have to go with Misterpola. This is a hard decision for me to make because both riders are doing some insane sh*t, however Misterpolas links were more complete and slightly more original. I know at first glance it doesn't seem that way, but if you look over the whole scope of flatland and look at what people have done with whiplashes, jumplashes, turbined whiplashes, VERY few people are doing what Misterpola is doing with them (specifically those jumplashes to turbined switch footed whiplashes, I've only seen Hiro do that kind of sh*t).

Michele's stuff is insanely difficult, but I've seen a lot of riders (including a multitude of street riders) doing the thing's he's doing. So when I see tailtap 360 to whopper I think "trick" before I think "original thought", unlike Misterpolas whiplash to nosewheelie to turbined switch footed jumplash.

Like I said, this is insanely close, but it really comes down to details like that that separate the two of you. Lots of people have done whiplash variations, but very few people have done what pola is doing. Lots of people have done whopper variations, but I feel as though a whole lot more have done the things that Michele is doing, which doesn't take away from the tricks themselves, but it did put Misterpola in the advantage.

Amazing f*cking battle. Best I've ever seen. Some of the best "homegrown" clips I've ever seen.

Michele- Some rare tricks going on here, really stoked on the Hop Whip combos. Rocket Nose Wheelies are no joke either. Quick tricks and some nice links, awesome man.

Misterpola- Smooth flowing style is cool. Whiplash to Nose Wheelie to Turbined Switchfoot Steam is bad ass.

Both had lots of tricks so this is another tough one. Michele had more bangers and I think he should get the win here.

Probably the closest battle so far. Both guys did very hard tricks and links. Also, I found both of them to be pretty original. However, when it comes to variety, misterpola wins here by small margin.

this is a real tough one!
I like Michele's little pop ins and outs, which might not necessary be as hard to execute... however I really appreciate the original little ideas here and there.
misterpola has the flow...
too undecided to give my vote as of yet.. so I'm going to sleep on it, and then give my decision in the Am!

Have to give this to Molo. Lukes whiplash lines are hard, but I don't think they touch the difficulty of Molo's no scuff pivot transitions on the rear wheel. Those were just straight bonkers.

My vote goes to Molo.

Very close but the no scuff pivot pushed Molo ahead.....

Molo goes further for me. Those rear wheel scuffless pivots are just insanely hard.

ffffuuuuuck, nice, two of my favourite riders. sh*t, my heroes I must say, haha

good that I'm not a judge for this one, althought, misterpola has my vote - more difficulty and he took what Ronny did and updated it, heh. All the whiplash action from Pola was sick..

Daaamn! Both killer runs.

Very tough decision but I'm going with Ronny for the win.

And Ronny, amazing riding as always!

Insane level of riding in this rounds master class by everyone...

This is tough, but I'm going to give it to Pola. In terms of creativity and originality Pola is kind of lacking compared to Ronny, but I'm not seeing anything from Ronny aside from the frontyard jump to whiplash and the last boomerang combo that's really touching the brakeless g turn whiplashes and disgusting brakeless jumplashes Pola is pulling.

that would mean.   that these two "combos" from each rider, are like the same difficulty wich i want to leave undecided
how about the other ones?
and you sad it by yourself+creativity and originality from ronny

so this is why i cant understand your descision

brakeless g turn whiplashes and disgusting brakeless jumplashes Pola is pulling.

did someone do them WITH using brakes??  cant imagine

i dont want to bother you i just want to understand it :)

Because I'm not sure you're looking at the language the right way. The stuff Pola was doing was much harder in my opinion. The tricks I mentioned were just the only things that stood out as "hard" that ronny was doing. I still think Pola's tricks were harder.

Crikey, these lads are tearing it up! This battle again..Close as you like!
However for me, Ronny has turned it up another notch; all over his bike like a rash!
This, and the overall edginess to his ridng, does it for me.
Ronny it be for me.

I have to give it to Ronny Engelmann @ Kassel this time.

Misterpola's stuff is more difficult but based on creativity, originality and variety Ronny is the winner for me. However, it was a very tight battle and I'm looking forward to seeing more bangers from misterpola.

Luke- Smooth as ever, still stoked on the X-hand Hang 5's you got them so good it looks like you could Whiplash X-handed also!

Misterpola- Amazing amount of dope tricks and lot's of energy! The Hop Whip was an exclamation point after nailing that combo, awesome. Stoked on the switch Pedal 5 switch to Steam also.

I'm going with Misterpola for the win here.

Congrats to the finalists, not an easy task to make it this far competing against a gang of shredders.

Molo- Real psyched on the X-Foot Nose Wheelie to Steam to Hang 10 combo. The Nose Wheelie standing on the rear tire is cool. Stoked to see new stuff, keep it coming!

Ronny- Damn! The full commitment to each switch is gnarly, so aggressive, I think anyone would hate to have battle you! The Fire Hydrant to Double Boomerang without letting the tire tap the ground is clean. A lot of impressive moves.

My vote goes to Ronny for the win.

This is a really tough battle to call.

Ronny did do a lot of really difficult switches, but I didn't see a whole lot in the battle that was altogether original that stood out to me. It also felt like he really lacked a lot of variety in his riding. Granted, Molo didn't do as much spinning as Ronny did, but Ronny didn't really work the rear wheel nearly as much as Molo did.

I think if this were a straight up or down vote on difficulty Ronny would be ahead by a very slim margin, but I think with all the stuff Molo did on the rear wheel as well as his more original lines I feel like he deserves the win here.

Vote goes to molo.

Ronny Engelmann @ Kassel gets my vote.

While Molo's stuff was more original and just something different from most of the stuff you see around, Ronny's links were more difficult. I also appreciate much more variety in terms of number of tricks although he did very little backwheel ones. Last but not least, I liked the execution of his switches. He didn't let the backwheel drop during let's say those double boomerangs while he could have done that to get more balance.

Anyways, lots of respect to both guys! Congrats!

My vote goes to Ronny Engelmann @ Kassel

Both runs were excellent. Molo had more originality and more backwheel and had some really surprising stuff but as a whole Ronny topped it with difficulty imo and showed a lot of his impressive tricktionary so he takes this victory.

Congrats to both! Respect!

This is yet another extremely closer than close battle.
I Felt, Molo lacked some of Ronny's flow and execution, but when you look and compare what Molo also brought to the table as far as Ideas and hints of originality in particular the foot positioning, then it leaves me tending to go with Molo!
So Molo gets my vote on this one.
Icare to say, If I was this was some offline contest, then Ronny would be the accomplished spinny crowd pleasing choice.  Like I say it's that close overall!

Molo.
