This is a showdown between the KHE Bram bar and The Colony Cube handbar.....
The KHE Bram bar is much lighter than the Colony Cube handbar. But some might say that the Colony Cube handbar looks better?? Which would you choose? and why ;D
LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!

shut up
-
how about you go to the parts section and check the ratings?
it's not accurate but neither is asking us to decide between them.
-
I have cheeked the part section, and they are almost neck by neck.. i was just worried if the bram bar would hold together. -_-
-
I brought the swissmiss because the price for the bram bar + KHE Minimalism stem is a lot more so I don't know, its not all about weight though.
-
how about you think about what you want in a bar and then make a decision based on the outcome of that

maybe it's the way the topic was worded.
Bram has designed some really good sh!t.
it'll hold together unless you're one of those that can break
anything you use. the Colony bars are a lot newer, so less
people have had the chance to ride them long.
personally i'd go with Bram's design.
i've used his Dubz tensioners and his RIP 2 frame and thought
both were well designed and held up to my 200 lbs ass.
hope that helps. ;D

thx.

ok the parts section doesn't list any sweep for the Bram bars (i'm not sure if it has any).
the Cube bars are 2.5 degrees both ways, if the Bram are zero sweep...
Bram bars are 24.8" wide
Cubes are 24.4" wide
Bram bars are only 6.9" high
Cubes are 7.9" high
-
im gonna go with the bram bar
-
I would go with the cube
+warranty
+Taller=comfier(for me)
+sweep=comfier(for me)
+purdy
Bram bars have drilled griptubes, ugh ugh
-
what bars are you running now?
-
i am running a old pice of SH*T called a "Flatland CrMo 2pc" it comes with the KHE millitant LT. but my "pro" friends who have some much more expensive bikes, lets me rider their bikes once in a vile, and i realized that i really like bars with no sweep and low cross bar. witch the bram bar haves, plus i love the geo of it

bram bars are nice. if you're a taller guy like me (5'11") you would want to go for an 8" rise though. the bram bars are 7" and i feel the telltale back aches of lower bars. however, i'm not complaining, i have what i have, and they're much nicer than what i did have. the cube bars look really nice too. i think they have upsweep? not sure, but i don't like the idea of upsweep with no backsweep, sounds like a recipe for sore forearms (sorearms). .
