I've been lucky enough to be able to ride at a village hall near me. The only thing is they want my bike not to mark the floor.
Its a wooden varnished floor so I was thinking...
white plastic pedals
white plastic barends
4 g-sport white plegs
and some white tyres (khe or suelo)
is there any parts you lot know work well on wooden floor?
-
Primo comets dont mark
buy some sequence plastic pegs or precision products - gsport plegs are a horrible peg, really fat and short - horrible for flatland i'd say.
id also tape some sponge to your barends and pedals, just to be sure.
electrical tape over brakelevers/where bars touch the floor for screwed hikers etc
-
well I like wide pegs as they dont hurt my feet as much, but they are short?... hmmm maybe not plegs then.
how do the commets not mark!?

Get some pedals that have rubber, plastic pedals will still scratch a wooden floor.

Just a word of a caution: my primo comets marked the HELL out of the floor at first. Once they were worn a bit it was fine though. Carve up some asphalt to break em in a bit.

Get some rubber chair tips that have a large enough diameter to fit in your peg. They wont fit all the way in (sticks out about an inch) but they will help not beating the sh*t out of a floor. They are about 2 dollars at a hardware store and surprisingly last for awhile as well as staying in your pegs. Ive done it before and works pretty good.
Also +1 on Plegs sucking ass. Too damn short.

I have never seen any pedals with rubber.
But the rubber stuff on the end of chairs is a good idea for pegs

Wellgo has some models, I see if I find some pics

This is the most floor friendly pedal they have:
model C145
Cage: Aluminum overmolded kraton
Spindle: Cr-Mo
Weight: 284 g/pr
Option: Sealed bearing as C145B

looks good. At the moment I'm looking at making some rubber barends and something for my pegs, maybe making them out of walking stick ferrules (rubber bit at the end)
