Decent looking pictures, but two screws in bar ends work much better than one. That and I hope the prices for the two are mixed up, otherwise that plastic bar end must be made out of PEEK or some other ridiculously expensive aircraft grade plastic.

They are made out of a material that is very similar to polyurethane, what skate board wheels are made out of. So you know they will last. They are actually lighter though and have a teflon coat so they slide easy if you messup on a hiker or backpacker.

I can get them made with 2 bolts, but with one you have the ability to rotate them if needed and not risk grinding your allen bolt down so you cant get the allen key in the slot.
-
Two screws at 90 degrees each would eliminate the risk of over tightening the single screw. And I think I have an idea of the plastic that's being used. I'd like to get my hands on it myself. (I think it's called Durathane in the skateboard industry, pretty neat stuff).
As I said, I like the look of em. When I do a run of my own though I'm making full barends with capped holes. I've had bad experience with uncapped ends. Best of luck!
-
Guys, big props to anyone who starts and finishes any project.
But I would like to add, that while I personally dont use such it does seem like a design that could be improved with a 2 piece design (similar to an aheadset tension lock design) and using the grub screws from the side instead so they dont get grinded on.
We need more people to think outside the box.
-
Firstly we can't have the same topic in every section, so I had to remove the one in general sorry.
Secondly I think its great. We can support a great flatlander too. Props Marcel. I gather the price is per pair? At first I thought the price was for 2 in the plastic model and single in ss, but it seems the polyurethane you use is expensive.
Well done, another great option.

You should consider grip rings too. Both steel and plastic. The market is poor, for the moment, on that product since the best I could find were Easterns in aluminium (all the other ones are a bit expensive) but I'd really consider something in steel or even plastic since the only function is really to hold your grips in place.
Also, any prices on EU market?..

I have grip rings coming at the moment. They may be here tomorrow along with another barcap model that places the bolt completly out of the way from hitting the ground no matter how the barcap is positioned. Thanks for the feed back. Ill try to make what riders want. Thats the most important thing!
-
I did some math and with my new batch of Side Bolt barcaps coming today I was able to drop the price on the Oxide Steel and the Super Tough barcaps!
-
finally a bike part that will last and a really excellent price, thanks name!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
A thin grip ring really would be awesome.
Just a little piece of metal to stop the grip from sliding down the bend, and to protect the bars on f*cked tricks.
Atm im using a aluminium "lock on grip" ring thing, it burrs really easily and can get sharp. I've cut myself on it a few times.
A nice thin steel piece would be awesome, with rounded sides. Doesnt matter if it gets thicker around one side for the grub screw, you can put that underneath anyway.
Its not much, but id buy it.
-
The Oxide Steel Barend would be perfect! I am currently using one for these same reason and Its saved my bars many times. No sharp edges at all and its not in the way either. I can not feel any wieght difference as well.

I will be having thinner ones made and they will be a 2 piece design so you do not have to remove your grips to put them on or take them off. It will take some time and money though.

-
nice dude! the market has been missing steel ends for a while now.
i had the same mindset as you regarding the lack of steel ends, and thought i would be part of that missing market. but i guess i will scrap my plans on making them now. good thing i didnt have cash to buy the materials yet. ;D
design was more along the lines of what Quamen and Sequence, etc.
youre prices are awesome too! cant beat that deal on stainless!
 to you bro!
-
pm'd ya..interesting in grabbing a pair..
-
the only thing I hate about cap type bar ends is that they take like a half an inch off your overall bar width. but these are great nonethe less keep it up!
-
props to ya! it's awesome when fellow riders come up with rad parts.

Huck, how much room for variation is there though in bar ends and grip stops, seriously?
If you take a look around, there is alot of similarities with much of our parts now. Every frame looks like some other frame, same with bars, forks, pegs, stems..........Yep everything looks like some other brand. Were not your suppresor pegs an exception to the rule?
-
Marcel-
Keep working hard! It will be well worth all the effort! Looking forward to viewing the finished product!

HUCK
HOW MANY YEARS HAVE WE BEEN FRIENDS AND HE IS RIGHT, AS THERE ARE
NOT MANY WAYS TO HAVE VARIATIONS FOR BARENDS, BARCAPS AND STOPPERS....
PLEASE STOP ATTACKING A NOR-CAL RIDER AND THAT IS MARCEL TREMBLAY.......
YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO MARCEL AND STOP THESE ATTACKS ON HIM AND
HIS NEW COMPANY.....DONT MAKE ME HAVE TO COME TO TEXAS AND TALK TO YOU
ABOUT THIS...LOL
HE IS NOT TRYING TO GET RICH OFF OF THIS BUT IS TIRED OF NOT HAVING
PRODUCT OUT THERE THAT IS NO LONGER IS ON THE MARKET....STEEL BARENDS
ETC...QUALITY PARTS AT A VERY GOOD PRICE!
HE RIDES EVERYDAY AND IS A PRO RIDER...HE WANTS TO RIDE QUALITY PARTS
HIMSELF AND KNOWS THAT SOME LACK OF GOOD STEEL BARENDS IS ONE THING
THAT THE FLATLAND INDUSTRY NEEDS.
-
STOP ALREADY
DAMN
-
It is the same ones he used and he has changed it a little as what you saw was
the older version of it. He is using a welder and metal guy near his house in Grass
Valley, Ca....he has done nothing wrong at all and you completely got onto him
and said some pretty f*cked up sh*t about his product and him.
To say that alot of us Nor-Cal riders are upset at you is an understatement
and he spent alot of money out of his own pocket to make an product, like
i said that is no longer being made in steel or heavy duty barends and other
stuff.... AND HE IS NOT OUT TO MAKE ALOT OF MONEY OUT OF THIS
HE ACTUALY RIDES EVERY DAY ALMOST AND IS A VERY GOOD FLAT RIDER
SO HE IS MAKING SOMETHING EVEN HE WOULD RIDE.
I WOULD TAKE OFF ALL THOSE POSTS AND JUST SHUT UP IS THE BEST THING
THAT YOU COULD DO!
-
I WOULD TAKE OFF ALL THOSE POSTS AND JUST SHUT UP IS THE BEST THING
THAT YOU COULD DO!
Haha, lol. ^_^
I kinda agree that you came out swinging hard Huck. As I said before a bar end is a bar end. How much variation is there? Its all been done. Just take a look around online stores, its all damn alloy. Even worse, anodized alloy. How dumb is that. The colour becomes patchy immediately after use looking more ghetto than plain alloy.
Its a great time right now, we have Sequence with the ti bar ends at last, and now these cheaper versions if you don't wanna spend the $$. We should embrace all these alternatives not attack them. -_-
-
AGREED PARADOXIUM
THAT WAS PRETTY BAD HUCK AND YOU NEED TO TAKE THOSE POSTS OFF
AND JUST SHUT UP..POST THOSE PICTURES MARCEL LIKE WE DISCUSSED
AND I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE UP BY NOW..THE PICTURES.
HOWS VICTORIA PARADOXIUM AND I HEARD SHANE IS HOOKING YOU
UP NOW WITH HIS COMPANY.....COOL!
-
thanks for the pictures, looks legit. great price too!

I dragged one on the pavement for 3 minutes and took a hammer to it with almost no damage at all, then I did the same with a steel one and it wrecked it and I did it for half the time! I love these barcaps Im not just saying that cause I make them.

I can, but with my camera I have to take it to a photo place and get the photos made then scan them so I cant do it today. I took some on my bars too.
-
u can send mine in the error pkg. so i know i got the OG ones.

-
Marcel-
I will take 2 pair , where do I send $$$ too? BTW: I have no paypal account. If so be it, let me know through private messages.
-
Direct bank deposit is fine or a money order, I prefer papal if possible.
-
Alright alright, in all fairness I never gave 'Name' the opportunity to post pics of his actual gripstops before I went off on him, so for that I apologize. But I would still like to see his product. Not that he owes me any explanations but you have to agree with me that it did seem kind of odd that the pics he used were from a totally different product and supplier. Thats all I'm sayin. So, Name, my apologies. Now where's pics of your products? And where and when can we buy them. FYI, McMaster Carr has rings (solid 1pc. design, 2 pc. design and even hinge-type for suuuuuper cheap.) In aluminum, nylon 6/6 and steel. Hook it up. I am.
Hey Paradoxium, that was a fair statement you made about me coming out swingin a little too hard. And as I might remind everyone of what I said earlier on above. There is an apology in there. As for you, Mutt, dude you're just stupid. Now you need to chill out your damn self. You think for one minute that I give a damn what Nor-Cal thinks about me. I made my peace already with Marcel and that should be enough. So, now I think you got some 'chilling out' of your own you need to exercise. Marcel! What's wrong with your boy Mutt?
I said it before, and I'll say it a last time, Marcel, My bad bro. I jumped to a conclusion and made an assumption. And yeah, yeah, Mutt, I know when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me! HaHa already. I'm out. Huck
-
Oh and btw, Mutt why do you post in all caps and bold letters on every comment you post? Is that like yelling in text? Just wondering. ;D
-
And for the record I pulled every one of my comments on this thread except the last 3. Where people quoted me I can't do anything about those. You guys will have to delete those yourselves to get rid of all the evidence. Peace Huck
-
Mutt why do you post in all caps and bold letters on every comment you post?
that is a phenomenon that not even furball can explain. it has perpetually perplexed global flat users since the time of creation

How about some all-radiused bar ends and grip stops with a larger outer diameter (for flatlanders who do hitchhiker and backpacker combos), no holes, and a bigger set screw?
Ares made both stainless steel and titanium bar ends and grip stops with a 32mm (1.25") OD.
http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/518 (http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/518)
The aluminum version of the Ares bar ends and grip stops has an OD of 34mm (1.35").
The new Magicfruits Nail Head bar ends have an OD of 1.5". Unfortunately, they're made from aluminum and have those stupid speed holes.
http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/896 (http://www.global-flat.com/parts/part/896)
Here's a pic of the new Sequence Titanamighty (titanium) bar ends. These are very nice, but they need more cowbell... um... I mean a bigger set screw and no holes on the outside.
These are MacNeil stainless steel bar ends. No f*cking holes, and all-radiused (f*ck yeah!).
Why no one's willing to make proper bar ends and grip stops these days is beyond me.
The solution's really f*cking simple!
1. A larger outer diameter. Not smaller than 1.4" and not bigger than 1.5". Don't make 'em too narrow either. Quamen Alumiendz are 14mm (.55") wide.
2. No holes on the outside (see Ares, Magicfruits, Sequence) and no speed holes either (see Magicfruits).
3. All-radiused. No sharp edges on the both the inside and outside (It can't be that hard, can it?).
4. A large set screw. Larger set screw (less trouble with stripped or even snapped set screws) = more torque = better clamping.
5. No aluminum, plastic, etc. Stainless steel and titanium are a flatlander's best friends!
Marcel, please don't get me wrong. I'm just trying to explain, that's all. -_-
-
ok
makes sense and maybe Marcel will start making them
and anything else you guys want people to make as i am
sure Marcel would love to help fellow riders out...as that is
what he does all the time....takes after me as i taught him
everything!.......LOL
JUST KIDDIN MARCELO
This is true I would like to hear any and all input on any ideas. Thanks. Marcel-
How about some all-radiused bar ends and grip stops with a larger outer diameter (for flatlanders who do hitchhiker and backpacker combos), no holes, and a bigger set screw?
The Oxide model was the first I made and the od was 1.25" I will keep this is mind for the next batch of plastic ones I just got off of the phone with my machinist and came up with a thicker stopper part on the inside of the end, also he is putting a radious on the inside to obsorb impact much better. These will be completely done by Monday and this are the only model I will sell starting now untill the next batch depending on feedback. Thanks for your input keepem' coming. Thanks. Marcel-
-
Also the Precision Revised Steel Barcaps will have a larger set screw, I am making them with a hole on the outer end so they may not be your flavor. They will not be too short, this was a big thing for me while designing them. Not short like the old steel camacura the first models with those things my grips would always rub against the ground. These should be ready within the week.

This is great, someone who actually is trying to get what the riders want.. I'm speechless.
Outstanding attitude, you are a heads up to all the manufacturers out there.

you know not to start a fight or anything, but just because a company does not "publicly" ask on the internet does not mean they dont get rider's input. there is flatland outside of this forum as im sure you know ;)
but still i think its cool that he's doing this

he did ask and alot of riders wanted steel bar ends and he went on a while
ago to complain about it and decided to do bar ends himself.

ive said it before and i will say it again...
i see the future of bmx companies being a lot more geared towards what the riders want. companies that dont listen to the riders who are buying their parts will eventually go under.
i see more "custom" frames and parts in the future also. your standard everyday cookie-cutter frames and parts will slowly become a part of history...well, maybe not fully, but i do see things going in this direction. it has to...there are too many complaints about whats being offered to us for it to go in any other direction.
Marcel, i was honestly bummed when i 1st saw you offering these ends. it was my own selfishness kickin me in the azz.
it was something ive been planning on for quite a while now. people were gettin sick of alloy ends and i knew i could help fill the need for steel again. was having a hard time coming up with the tooling cash. i had designs up the wazoo that i just torched during my recent depression.
but anyway, im really not bummed anymore dude. you are doing a hell of a job with these. they look killer and priced right! and the fact that you are open to rider input is awesome!
its very nice to see quality steel ends again! when i come up with cash/job, i will definitely hit you up for a set or 2!
keep up the goodness bro!

Props on the super tough plastic barends. they are a lifesaver for learning hikers. My aluminum ends would snag up and throw me off the trick. Marcels supertough just keep sliding no chance of snagging on the roughest ground. Gives me way more time to feel and find the balance point. Major props for creating a superior product.

I've been smashing, sliding, grinding and trying to do backward spinning hikers all weekend on the Supertough Barends. They are super tough! Slide nice, no rough edges, always feel smooth on your hands. The only true plastic flatland barend out IMO! 10/10
Big props Marcel! I can't wait for more!

Great to hear, The only way for people to understand the durabitity and quality of this material is to ride the barcaps, Much better than aluminum and dont stick when you hit like steel or any metal, about the same durability as steel, or just a slight less and the wieght is ridiculous. What else would you want in a barcap? And it slides on all surfaces! Im just glad to hear feedback. Thank you Robpossible! Marcel-

YEP
SMASHED THEM A FEW TIMES ALREADY
THEY ARE HOLDING UP!

Thank you Mutt for posting, but its gonna take more than a few smashes to do any damage to these barcaps. Ive taken a hammer to these as hard as possible durring testing. Trust me you dont have to be careful with the Super Thoughs. Thanks for the feedback though. Marcel-

I CAN TAKE THEM OFF MY BIKE AND USE AN SLEDGEHAMMER ON THEM
IF YOU WANT ME TO, TO SEE IF THEY GET DAMAGE

For which ones? The barcaps? They are probaly just squshed since he just put them on they are perfict on my bike. Im almost out of that model anyhow so you guys want them larger? How much larger?

This is special plastic that is stonger than aluminum and yes it is very light. We will have aluminum or maybe magneisium pegs in the near future.
-
have the caps been tested?
-
This is special plastis that is stonger than aluminum.
What properties and tensile strength does "aluminum" have?
There is no such thing as "stronger" as design and properties can only create this with whatever material is used.

I just mean aluminum wears much mush faster that the material I use.

Caps meaning barcaps? We desided not to go with the full peg caps since he currest design is great.

OK Marcel
cool and as long as the neds of the pegs dont get grinded in
or folds like they usually do after awhile...that is cool!

sorry, yeah I meant the caps for the pegs, just wondering if they'd been tested to stay put

I decided to try out the Marcel’s Precision Revised Steel bar caps with that nice new school design. A little heavier than the plastic but well worth the strength that you get out of them. I haven’t ridden steel in almost 10 years and forgot how nice it slides and how forgiving it is on ruff surfaces. Nothing like burred up aluminum ends that dig into any and everything especially your hands, never going back to those again! Great products Marcel! Keep it up!
Thx, Rob

All aluminum barend.
I'm not in any way trying to discredit you or your parts, which look great by the way, nice work, but comparing "aluminum" to "plastic" is very vague. Most aluminum barends are made of 6061-T6 which is very soft and wears fast. Its not only soft, its gummy so it tends to hold burrs more than say 7075-T6 which isn't a good thing. 7075-T6 is used by a couple companies for barends, Quamen being a major player, however most still use the lower quality, softer 6061-T6. There are even harder wearing aluminums available, although more expensive, they are very very good alternatives even to 7075-T6. This doesn't even take into account plating options and heat treatments which will further harden the surfaces, which aren't an option for plastics...

Understood and thank you for your comments. But if you would like to know how they wear the only way would be to ride them. I understand that 7075-t6 is very durable but it shreds. The material that we use dose not shread and also has a self lubricating quality making them MY favorite barcaps and I apreciate your responces because it does make sence to be curious about my phrasing.

are they also available in a smaller diameter? something like 38mm?

Marcelly, I guess I should congratulate you just on finding a machine shop that will work with you so fast!
Not many others have that luxury....
Enjoy it bro, things look cool.

Just some advice: the taper on the pegs could be much shorter (about a 1/4" would be plenty) since all modern forks have some type of taper on them anyhow. A longer flat grip surface = more comfort and grip.

This is what we were striving for but the flatland fork that I was using as a test fork did not seem to change its mind.

Thanks alot! There won't be a design like I would have liked on the front of the Precision Flower because they are all hand machined , no CNC involved.

you could sell little stickers to put there ;D

Is it me..Or do the tolerances on the center pieces not look repetitve. Also why the use of the bizhouse design? And not a straight forward toploader design with your own touches to it? Its basicly a bizhouse...Which i was anticipating this stem to be of good quality, and of the toploader/frontload design so i could get away from said bizhouse. O well, nice product.

I never even knew that Bizhouse had hollowed out sides in thier stems. I have only had an old Bizhouse years ago. I saw a pic of the slotted Bizhouse after we alredy finished the stems.
I have seen thier new one that is slotted but I have had this idea for quite some time. I prefer a front load stem. I dont know how I would have made a top load stem that is adjustable.

This is what I will do, I was making stickers tomorrow of our design anyhow. Thanks for the idea!

Hmmmmm, i understand your point about the adjustabillity. I kind of missed that as i was more focused on a quality part that rider input was accepted. But i do find somethings odd about..all of this..hmm. Best of luck Marcel.

i think a basic 32mm toploading stem without sharp edges and 6bolts would sell very well ;)

Marcel, I dont wish to put a damper on this but that looks very dangerous.
Could you please make sure that you test this out a good couple of weeks before you start to sell it as by leaving the bolts so long and with such open over hang could lead to some real problems.

Thanks for the possitive feedback. How many compression stems are out there? Alot This was the design I drew out not based on any stem designs but just to keep it simple and light.

How much more simple could I have gotten with our stem looking as a final result? I have not ever seen a Bizhouse with slotted sides ever untill recently.

Nobody here is calling you out. Simply stating that that is a lot of overhang for small SHCS's. There is going to be a ton of torsion transmitted thru the stem via the handlebars and there isn't going to be much support with the long insert and longer SHCS's since everything will be hanging out the front of the rear body so much. The short ones will be fine, just a little weary of the long version.
-
From an engineering point of view, by leaving such a mass of bolts exposed you increase the threat of leverage. I personally believe you will find that anyone using this design will find bolt heads popping off left right and center. Not forgetting that the extra leverage will mess allot of peoples headtubes up with the wedge.
-
Let me also say, I am not trying to cause a problem.
But I am generally concerned about this design and possible dangers.

What do you mean by "for a while"??
It's not enough to ride it for a couple of days to say it's safe and reliable!
Sorry name, you got to test that for a lot longer than "a while"..
-
If you dont want it dont ride it. Plain and simple Im going to bed. Ive been working on designs all night.

What the hell ship my stuff out before you go to bed =(

I have not ever seen a Bizhouse with slotted sides ever untill recently.
Even my old Bizhouse had slotted sides. And I bought it in 2002! ;)

so... the stem is basicly a bizhouse stem with a small hole instead of the star??? lol

I hope this was just a bad moment of yours because riders are sick of products that fail on them and if you can't just be selling a Stem that will fail in the middle of an Hang5, too dangerous to begin with and I'm sure you'd deny any responsibilities (I would too).
A bar end, a grip-stop or a headset spacer are small parts anybody can get done by a local shop, but to f.uck around with parts that can get you into serious trouble and you barely even tested (unless you were saving it from the beginning) is no joke.
I know you're all psyched with your new "company" but get a grip over yourself, this subject has been discussed forever and you will be flamed to hell if anybody looses a teeth over a failing part of yours.
Peace.

talk about ahead of its time!!!

Its like he found a stockpile of blemmed bizhouses, machined the front plate so no star..And created a larger center piece for adjustabillity.
Its purpose is in the right direction, but man..something just seems weird about this..or is it just me?

I didnt recieve your paypal payment yet.

The stem will not brake, no less than any other stem. Its been tested for over a month now at 38mm. and my machinist told me its 100 percent its all there with the strenth, equivilent to every otther stem I showed hime of all kinds to show him what stems look lik with bolts in the back and such. or I wouldnt even ride it. Its been on my bike for quite a while now and not one problem.
-
I wouldnt even respond to Hugo name. -_- How many people loose their teeth on big name brands. whatever
-
a headset spacer are small parts anybody can get done by a local shop
Just to clarify... my spacers, dustcaps, inserts, barends, cable hangers, ,hubs, sprockets, hubguards, seat clamps, frame components, pedals and stems have always been made in house. Designed, programmed, setup and machined by either myself or partner. This goes for flat, park/dirt/street, road, mtb and track components as well as firearms. All of which are pretty darn critical so for you to say "anybody can get it done by a local shop" and lump other components shown on here recently all together is a bit harsh, don't you think?
Other than that, I agree with you. A month is not long enough to test a part as critical as a stem. Also, I've seen some machinists make the most ridiculous parts, but not know their ass from a hole in the ground, so to say he looked it over and guarantees it to be 100% effective doesn't really count in my book, unless he rides and/or sees how harsh some riders are, AND understands why components fail, where they fail and how to correct the failure.
What material are the stem components being made out of? Are the threads being cut or rolled? How much gap are you allowing for bar diameter, steerer diameter, compression? Are you allowing room for anodize or is everything being held over/undersize? How does this design eliminate twist? I've seen many compression stems of this style twist perpendicular to the steerer. Just a few things I'm curious about. You don't have to answer.

hey name........F.... away with all the negative bs ppl give here. this is why alot of ppl around the world are starting to shy away from Gf and its overzealous negativity...............
you ppl come on here and give french, european, japanese and practically any other company that's making flatland parts alot of crap for minor sh*t....you know what if a part braeks so what its supposed to do that that why its called "extreme sports" all materials and processes weaken materials in ways that would always compromise thier long term strength....that's why there's more in the store........
name bro this was the same reason i did'nt want to get into makin stuff cus ppl who don't have the balls like us to make parts out of our own pockets to supply a sport that you cant even explain to a 8yr old without been asked if you could hop is ridiculous..............
this is good ole "american made parts...so you patriotic old guys should not be banging here....jus shut up and buy it if it breaks so what that's what warranties are for....jeez...go ride a bike......
-
People give sh*t products and warrantys..sh*t reviews. just how its gonna go. The fact u say "all things do break..thats why its called extreme sports".. Sounds like ur just trying to sweep things under the rug. The fact of the matter is, theres no excuse for large hunks of aluminum to break, theres no reason a frame should be crumbling before its even a year old. "Parts are supposed to break," my ass..Sounds like a monopoly of sorts.
As far as the japanese, euro, american debate..its not about where the products are coming from, but how the products are lending to riders needs..without being a pain in the ass because of severe faults.
As far as you and name go with making your own parts, and doing your own thing "For riders." thats cool and all..but just because you believe in what you "or another makes" doesnt mean it is the end all be all. Snoop..on a roll today

OK GREAT NEWS! From the feedback I have been given from you all on this thred abou the stem, I have been in the machine shop all afternoon. The stem model that you have all seen WILL NOT BE SOLD Im not saying that it wasnt totally strong. We have come up with the BEST modifications according you your responces on both visual and strength aspects. These photos of the final stem will be posted tomorrow afternoon and I am almost 100 percent on the fact that you will much approve of this new design. For all of the respectable feedback with the first model throught the thread I thank you and incourage this. For people who just make fun of things that people are trying hard to make, This is not cool but it does not affect my fellings very much. Thanks to those like couch and byke and the others that have made good points, and I have responded to your advice. The stem photos will be posted tomorrow afternoon and I am taking down that current pics of the stem right now. Thank you. Marcel-

I think consumers have every right to want quality products. I think most people here have repectfully made suggestions to Name for the betterment of his product.
I think it looks like a quality product, but then I'm not an engineer either. I don't really understand the big deal about a part looking like another companies product. I see lot's of products that look like other companies products.

to be honest the design on the stem seems great. i dont have nearly as much as expirience as these guys, but you said you'd release as stem with a good, solid, simple, design that works best, and if the bizhouse offers all that, then why not release an updated bizhouse?
and i guess i see what they mean about the different reach stems, but if the stem body was made longer for the longer models if wouldnt affect correct?(although that would defeat the point cause then its not adjustable)

and i guess i see what they mean about the different reach stems, but if the stem body was made longer for the longer models if wouldnt affect correct?(although that would defeat the point cause then its not adjustable)
Please look at the post om page 17 posted in BOLD. Thanks.
