You won't have to worry about stripping your post overtightening the guts to keep the rails from sliding around on you. I have been impressed with the strength of the posts (mine's a primo) since i previously bent 2 non-pivotal posts. Go for one of the flatland style seats so the hard plastic on the back of it will protect your seat vs a primo balance for example that will get shredded up if you're sketchy on stick B's or dumptrucks.

I'm all for things being adjustable, pivotal seats remove that adjustment ability!
