I've used:

WTP neocontrol bars- first set of flatland specific bars... bought them cause they looked cool... but once they were on my bike they just never felt right... got rid of them very quickly... Couldn't get used to the sweep...

London t45 tubing queen vics (the old kind before tex handed off production to someone else) - best bars I've ever owned to date... I traded them back and forth to people about 3-4 times and got them back... now they just hang on my bookshelf... I would ride them again, but years of my riding and other peoples riding put down sweep in the bars...

2 prototype Logik bikes bars - first pair snapped on me and almost stabbed me in the neck... second pair just warped/melted fast... couldn't get quality control decent enough to get the bars on the market...

Quamen flouta bars - Second best set of bars i've ever owned... these are still on my bike... I've had them 3+ years, and despite peoples claims of them being weak... have held up to every ounce of beating I could give them... Countless botched hiker turbines, botched kickflips, botched high speed back packer to x-foot hiker, and they still aren't bent.. if they keep this up, they may pass up the londons as my favorites...

Can't go wrong with quamen, I'll say that much...

I use 8" London Queen Vics with 2 up 2 back on my old bike, but am nearly finished building a new bike (the Luna) which has my trusty K pro bar stem combo on it. Something about the 1" griptube that I find really satisfying...

Oddly enough I couldn't stand the K pro's on my old bike but the geo of the Luna and the long steerer tube of my ody forks makes them feel perfect. I'm really glad I didn't sell them now!

I know I'll end up with some of the 6 degree Chase bars whenever they come out though. I used to use the Hoffman Love Handles but sold them as part of a complete bike (which I kinda regret). Apart from them weighing the front end down a fair bit they felt great, and I reckon the Chasies will feel similar.

Bars are the most important part of a bike for me. The wrong bars make the whole bike feel bad.

I know I'll end up with some of the 6 degree Chase bars whenever they come out though.

Hey it's time to wake up, sleepyhead!  ^_^
Sounds like you overslept. The came out months ago and sold out in no time!
German mailorder Kunstform has some in stock, but they're like 140 buck plus s/h! ;)

I recently asked Chris at Odyssey for an update on the Chase bars (among other things). Here is my questions and his reply:

1) Chase bars? Ever? - Yes, definitely.  Chase is on the latest bars and is happy with them.  We are redesigning the tubesets on all of our bars at the moment, but the Chase bars will be in full production soon.  I'm VERY sorry about the ridiculously long wait.

My interpretation of that would be at least a few months. A Fall 2008 release.

I'm holding out for the new ones...  -_-

Being UK based I'll probably be better off buying from Pat (verzeihung Flo!) unless the dollar carries on gaining against the pound...

now i run the old fly handlebars that viki designed  in 2001-2002 maybe.5 degrees backsweep.
very strong around 800 gramars with suelo stem 35 mm.7.5'' i think  and i cut it at 53.5 cm.
i have it very low cause it helps me more with my tricks.
for a year i was riding swiss miss with 1.5 backsweep, great handlebars it is very strong and i had no problems at all.
that is 400 gr lighter than my suelo but i didnt like the backsweep and because i lighten my front end very much i couldnt ride.
now with they suelo its more stable than before.
i am looking to make a custom london handlebar with 6 degrees backsweep and 100-200 gr lighter to save my knees although i dont touch the frontwheel anymore and have amore beautifull set up.

Yep, personal opinion!  Some beers for you

Turn the bars around you have 11° frontsweep. lol
I have bad wrists and backsweep kills my wrists even more. I ran KGB Sarvets once. Minimal backsweep is kinda okay, but Tim, 11° backsweep? C'mon that's suposda be a joke, right? What's next 32" width or 10° upsweep?  ^_^ :P
Seriously, more than 6° is too much! Hitchhikers or backpackers with 11° backsweep??

i think back sweep is better for your wrists.
personal opinion.
zero is killing my wrists.
11 backsweep is better for some tricks i believe.
but it doesnt help in frontwheel tricks.
backweel tricks like manual tricks feel better with backsweep for sure.
6 degrees is okay i believe.
more is too much as you said.
but a g-turn backpacker would be much much easier to learn with a 11 degree backsweep.
how many tricks do you do wuth the bars fliped forwards?

Absolutely, but do we really need (flatland) bars with 11° backsweep?
Too much backsweep (more than 6 degrees) makes kickflips a pain in the ass. lol
Backpackers, hitchchikers, and barflips are the reasons why flatland bars have reduced backsweep compared to street bars.

lol

i think we are both right in a sence that riders tend to do alot of flashy tricks , and this is why you dont see alot of guys runing  something like this!
or even  companies making  something even remotely close to  this.....

take care my friend!

I tried those for a month, didn't like the feel of the angle. Tried Metal Years, they were pretty nice feeling, but still not right. I've taken a liking to how level the Suelo 190's are and have stuck with them.

I feel the same way. I really want to like the Swiss Miss tho. There's not a lot of variety in the once-piece market these days...

The only bar that I've tried (and I haven't run the Xan bars) that compares to the Suelo 190's in my opinion/taste were the Quamen Flautas and Ronin bars (had them and sold them like a fool). love all 3, partial to Flautas, but they're impossible to find these days. on a side note, please hit me up if you have Flautas and would like to sell them to me.   ;D

I actually really liked the basic whammy bars.  As far as fav older bar... Standard strip bars. I liked the flautas, I would have to say it depends... I like bars, with sweep, without sweep... Top 3 would be ronin, mtf t4, and now sequence xan. I'd go back to MTF given the chance though. Both are nice.

I'm running SickChild Metal Years, 8" with sweep. They're great.

I'll be putting together a secondary bike at some point, and I'll probably toss on my old Odyssey 44s, they're still in good shape. Or the old Haro bars, I kinda like those as well. But that'll be a beater bike anyway.

I think my Chase BS Bars are seriously the last bars I'll ever buy.  They're perfect, and if I break them, Odyssey gives me new ones.

Animal Bob's actually. I just cut about half an inch off the ends, and they're perfect. High cross bar though, might eventually need a lower one when I get better.

Chase B.s. bars are really nice, but the up sweep is beginning to take a toll on my wrist.  I've noticed it has become increasingly painful to ride, with most of the pain occurring on the lateral(outside) part of my palm.

I may have to buy some KGB's very soon.
