Just some basic info is all I want...from there I'll try some of my own tricks but until I get the basics down I'm f*cked. All I would like to know from anyone and everyone is that are there any "starter" things/moves I should be learning to get my balance right, handing/footing that sort of thing. Any and all help is appreciated! Thnx! ;D
When I state beginner, I mean like the BASIX, you need to crawl to learn to walk sort of stuff...

deffinitly get the "ground rules" dvd by matt wilhelm. that video will teach you all you need to know from really basic tricks to some more advanced ones

Thanx I'll have to check that out in the off-season (we get snow here and not a big enough basement to practice in) so that will give me somethin to do at least...

Yes, go to www.bmxtrix.com (http://www.bmxtrix.com) and look under "How-to" "Flatland". There are a whole bunch of tricks there sorted by level of difficulty. It's a great site and, best of all, it's free.

NO! Bad... Learn to ride backwards, Thats how i started. Then learn the forkglide and whala! you got yourself a ride out of a forkglide right away.(step over the bars onto the TT and then start riding backwards then just do the ride out...)
... but everybodys different
... though you should buy ground rules... it helped me alot ;D
