yeah man thats true, but riders are willing to travel and cross ocean everytime theres a jam
we have regular events here so if anyones feels like visiting just shoot me a message.. by the
way we have a road trip this sept try to visit provinces to promote BMX shall post the pics here
as well...

they sometimes they visit us.. but yeah thats true no sponsors, thats why riders are helping
each other to promote the scene... by the denny told me that he will visit luzon later this
month or september...

what do you think can help us get notice by those companies who sponsor riders?

Post by: Paul Chamberlain on August 21, 2008, 05:53:58 AM: What you're doing is what we want so continue. Develop your own scene as much as you can without relying on some other companies. If your scene is well promoted here then some companies will step and flow some riders some product. It's kinda hard to get things moving in countries where there is not a BMX distro that sells a lot of flatland product.

I don't think you need help though! What you're doing is great and we're all watching. Keep doing it and who knows what will happen.

oh i found out Emanuel real name is GInGIN or
something that sounds like that and we call him Gin and
Tonic here..he is starting to ride with the group in sessions
alot more now and has been ordering alot of stuff off of flatlandfuel
and especially Dvd's as he is starting to get a real good flatland
dvd collection.

he has a KHE Rip he rides now all specialitied out with parts and he seems
happy with the bike setup!

My Dad immigrated to the states in the 1950's and my mom is American born. On my mom's side, my great grandparents were some of the first Filipinos to become share croppers here in the early 1900's on the Pacific coast. Me being 3rd generation... I'm essentially a white guy with a tan!

I don't speak Tagalog, and my Dad struggles with it, even though it's his native language. I work for the Knights of Columbus, which is huge in the P.I., so when KofC members travel here, I have a good repoire with them. Now, I work with a lot of the KofC and FilAm members here in the Bay Area.

My wife and I plan on traveling there in the next few years. I still have family there and we'd have plenty of hospitality. My family actually still owns land there, and my Dad is wondering if he should sell it or not. However, it may be in my interest to build a vacation home there.

Anyhow, thanks for posting all of this... it's incredble to see the scene from my "Other Mother Land" and my Pinoy brothers tearing it up!

I sent my Dad the pics and he was, like, "It's amazing how Westernized it's become".
