does it get the job done good? im going from 2.25s at 40 psi, so anything is going to help, but i like the looks of these, but ive heard mixed things. wutcha all think?
-
if u r riding just flat than i would definetly go with freq.gs or comets. otherwise can`t help u cause i don`t ride street or park.
-
well if its all u can get ur hands on then it might be worth it but, i would try and avoid walls
-
My buddy runs walls... those things wear like iron...they don't roll bad and they scuff like no tomorrow... they take 120psi no problem.
I dunno I thought they were alright when I rode them??? There really heavy tires though.
You'll definitely see an improvement with those tires over what you have now.
Would those be my first choice?? No I like freq G's but I would run walls there not bad IMHO.

primo wall tires are grate if you constantly run over broken glass or thumbtacks or jaged pieces of metal, hahaha
seriously - I had a set of 2.1 in red, not my style, verry HEAVY duty.
they will last a while, and scuff good, spin ok, seem kinda mushy tho.
I rode them at 95/100 psi. never tried 120 on em.

They are really good tires, one of the best..

Primo Walls are still my personal favorite. Yes, they are heavy. They ride great though. Nothing is better for scuffing. Tread lasts a long time and you can do 120psi easy. I have been pushing Primo to do a kevlar bead version. That would be nice.

i used to run walls a while back.........not a bad tire.
i took a liking to the commets though......

a few years back, a primo wall on the rear and v-monster on the front was THE setup for riders that rode street park trails.
things have changed and tires have gone light weight, these are heavy duty which means there're a LOT of life on them. the performance of the tire is good and consistent throughout its life as well.
i presume you started no long ago. go with these, save the replacement money on tires to spend on other parts which you'll need to spend on. you'll eventually get to a point that other tires would suit you more and you will kinda just 'know'. by then you'll have some more tricks and better bike parts already. go for them.

they should make the walls in 1.75 model and what pat said.. xD be an amazing tire fersure.
maybe even 1.5s id buy them in a sec

I agree I'd like to try walls in a 1.75 because I think they would scuff nice for BW trix.

Ares A-Class for the win in every category except price... =P
-
yeah a-class! very good overall feel, except when you feel your pocket. ^_^
but i like it better than all the folding tires out there.

Hell ya a class tire I had just 1.. it was the best tire ive ever used
