Title: 14mm down to 10mm
Post by: (B)MX_4-Ever on June 06, 2008, 12:13:03 AM: i saw on FF there is a 10mm to 14mm axle converter, but does anything make it go the other way??? is it possible to take a nankai 14mm FC and take out the axle and replace it with a 10mm?

Which Nankai 14mm? If it's just a regular Techno-Lite, then you just take off the adapters and put the right nuts on. If it's one of the new dedicated 14mm ones, you just get a 3/8" freecoaster instead.

Post by: Thlayli on June 06, 2008, 01:44:54 AM: At that price? It's not a brand new one, so it's adapters. when I originally bought my wheels w/ the Nankai, it had the adapters; when I got a frame with 3/8" dropouts, I also got the cone nuts and took the adapters off. It's really easy.
