QuestBMX - (Meta)GuruStix Pegs

We stumbled upon a new project on Facebook the other day an asked Dan Sirkin to tell us a bit more about the MetaGuruStix and GuruStix pegs.

MetaGuruStix specification of design:
- 4.5” Length (114.3mm)
- 1 5/8” diameter (1.625” / 41mm)
- 3/8” axle hole (easily drillable to 14mm)
- Medium-grade knurl
- 6061-T6 Aluminum goodness
- Made in USA
- 141g each (A true guru will never sacrifice strength to save a few ounces)

The above info is for the MetaGuruStix. The GuruStix smaller diameter pegs are being manufactured now and will be lighter and smaller with a diameter of 1-7/16" (1.4375" / 36.5mm). The GuruStix will be available in black, red, and purple while the MetaGuruStix are currently only available in raw silver.

We wanted to produce some pegs that were in between 1.375" and 1.5" with the GuruStix and the MetaGuruStix is between the popular 1.5" and 1.75". These are very light but not the lightest because we want them to last. Smoothed edges for pivots and long shoe wear plus a medium grade knurling without any lines or holes to help shoes last longer and keep hands from getting torn up. Internally relieved and then reinforced at the inside and outside edges for strength and to fight denting at the ends.

The parent company for these pegs is QuestBMX, which is a new company created by me (Dan Sirkin). We will offer quality, innovative products when the need arises. We don't want to create products just for the sake of doing so. If there's a need and we have an interest, we will do it!
