I have been running this blog for a few years now. The original intention was for it to be a place to share what was going on in the Northwest flatland scene and to promote the Portland flatland jams.

I hope that I have done a decent job trying to do that but this site has also been neglected for long stretches of time. There are many reasons for that. Work, not much going on, lack of content and me not wanting to be in front of the computer for another hour a day.

Which brings me to my point. I struggle to create and post regular content that is specific to flatland in the NW. The truth is that I am not very good at shooting photos and videos. It is time consuming and often the results are not worth the effort.

So with that in mind I have decided to bring this chapter of the Enjoy the Trick story to a close. I might take the blog in a different direction at some point if I get inspired. At this point I am not sure what that will look like.

There are many great flatland and NW BMX websites out there. I encourage you to seek them out and support them. Or maybe even create your own. Anthony and Justin over at FlatWeb TV are doing a great job of covering the global flatland scene. Shad over at Goods always has great stuff about the NW scene and beyond. Flatmatters has all the latest flatland videos and news. Finally don’t forget Global-Flat.com. It is a great place for all things flatland.

Thank you all for following and supporting this blog over the years. I have had a lot of fun with it. Hopefully I will be back soon with something new and fun.
