ELEVATION5, the sixth installment of the infamous Elevation flatland event series, will be taking place in Houston,Tx on Saturday, October 14, 2006.  Set in an old 1920's abandoned warehouse space in the downtown district of Houston, this event boasts to be one of the most interesting flatland events in the U.S. this year.  The building, which provides about 12,000 sq/ft of riding space and 30 foot ceilings, is just one of the unique features of this long awaited event.  The most interesting part of this year's Elevation is that the main event of the day is an expert only comp with a cash purse of up to $2500.00.  Where most flatland events promote a pro comp as the main attraction, this year the promoters of E5 felt it necessary to give props to the group of riders that help keep flatland alive with little or no reward, the AMs and Experts.
