Tokyo, 10.12.2006 - Red Bull Circle of Balance announcement

Word on the streets is fast – and yes the rumors are true...
After two great events in 2002 and 2004 in Germany the saga continues and the 3rd edition of Red Bull Circle of Balance will take place in Japan – showdown in Tokyo if you want to call it!
For some reasons 3rd editions and serials often take place in Japan, we really cant tell why but for Circle of Balance there are good reasons.
Where else in the world can you find such concentrated passion for Flatland and loads of spirit for it? It´s pretty much the flatland Mekka and we would like to honor this to the sport with bringing the Circle of Balance to the land of the rising Sun!

Getting selected is not only about competitive riding skills and top contest results. The Red Bull Circle of Balance is not a regular contest – it´s more a platform and lobby for riders who push Flatland in a unique, original, dedicated and progressive way. These are the main ingredients and in a mix it´s the main essence of Flatland today. Flatland is an expression of lifestyle, art and culture in the most creative way, controlled by body, mind and soul – and this is what we would like to catch up. We plan to invite 18 professional flatland riders from 9 different countries. The riders we have chosen are not only flatland icons, more than that they are all great and edgy personalities with their own state of mind. Each of them represents the sport in their own certain creative way.

3. Travis Collier - Canada
4. Jesse Puente - USA
5. Mike S. - Germany

With the 3rd event held in Japan it will be a major step but also a step where we would like to use every link to the past COB´s.

Make sure you´re there to witness the great viarity of flatland lifestyle and the Red Bull Circle of Balance originated man vs. man battle format.
