FURTHER INFORMATION
This is my riding spot, and where I work, the floor is marble and quite old now, the section where i ride is pretty good still. This is the fastest floor i've rode on, it's great for turbine tricks and general new school riding.
Locals: this spot is mostly sessioned by me, but occasionally also sessioned by Shane Badman, Leon Luxton, Drum n Bass Chris, Random Rob, and Rory.
Every so often get the odd out of towner popping through, Sam Foakes, has filmed couple off tricks here for his kgb video part.
This place has been home to the legendary king of concrete for 17 years, pretty much everyone has rode there over the years (Gouin, Osicka, Degroot,Retey, Szilaygi, Dolan, White, etc.
Only bad points are of course you can't ride there when the park is open, cause its too busy, and also during summer the floor can be really white, and blinds you mid trick.
But overall, this is the best spot i've ever ridden, i suppose everyone says that about their home spot tho.
The skatepark is easy to find, situated between the two historic piers on southsea seafront, opposite the pyramids centre...

Great spot, i have nothing but good memories from sessions there. One thing... the marker's been put in a small village near Andover, might need moving! |
