Original comment: It was a windy day in Dalian, enough to impede my riding early in the day. So I needed something to occupy my time. Over the course of my time in Dalian I saw this building with a perfect webbing structure for climbing and it had a glass covering all the way to the top. It started at the ground and went at an about 40 degree angle all the way up to the roof.
Now the day before was the first time I learned to crash the motorcycle. So I was all hopped up on adrenaline and testosterone, and felt invincible so I decided to strap on my go pro and film this excursion.
Hands down the most dangerous and stupid thing I did while on my trip but still one of my favorite. The only thing this video doesn't capture is my inner monologue. I was terrified throughout. If you look closely all the pipes are covered in a thick layer of dust making this all the more slippery and dangerous. So I took my time so I could live to tell the tale.
The clip after the climb I think is one of the most beautiful scenic shots I got while in China. That's Five Color Square in Kaifaqu, easily my favorite riding spot while there. Also that combo I think is strange because I actively tried to link uncommon tricks to link for me. That's why I throughout I switch rotational directions. purposefully unaesthetic compared to others but I like it non the less.
In the background of the last 2 bike flip clips you can see the building I climbed.
