I know, such an inventive name. This is old man BMX riding from Redondo Beach featuring a bunch of the expected plus a power mower kickturn. The last move was a "dream trick" from when I was 14 that I could never get right, but 30 years later, I am checking it off the list because frankly, my therapist thought that was a good idea. And finally, I used another Self Defense Family song because I listen to them a lot and this EP displays their ability to say, "hey, we're all fragile, get used to it."

It is hard for me to believe and take in that its been 10 years of Flatmattersonline! I wanted to show something special for the 10th anniversary of the site and today I have episode 3 featuring another selection of some of my biggest inspirations. Martti Kuoppa, Chad Johnston, Johann Chan, and James McGraw take their turn in the hot seat.

Enjoy!

Thank you everyone for an amazing response yesterday to 10 Years of Flatmattersonline! My phone literally did not stop all day between the website posts, Facebook, Instagram and private messages. As I said yesterday we continue with my celebration of 10 years with Episode 2 featuring Pete Brandt, Jay Marley, Sebastian Grubinger, Pete Olsen, and Austin Luberda. Hope you enjoy the episode! Feeling the love!

Flatlander Pete Brandt is really glad the big polar bear is gone. He personally brought tools and cleaned for 4 hours after a City crew removed it, leaving trash behind.

He's been practicing here at least 15 years, that's when I met him here. Inspirational.
