Ben Moran is an enigma. Easily one of the most underrated flatland riders in the world. His original style and complexity in his riding is what make him so. About two years ago he was in Tasmania just hanging out and riding, living the life of Ben Moran, he decided to head back home to country Victoria. He had to travel light so, on his way to the airport he stopped at the thrift shop and gave his bike to the shop. “I’ve done well from thrift shops over the years so it’s only fitting I give back”. So with that Ben stopped riding. Maybe he just needed to rest and stop thinking of original tricks, only Ben knows. When round 1 of DownUnderGround was in Sydney Ben Moran attended and bmx started calling again. The biggest new to hit the world is the Ben Moran has got a new bike. Yes you heard that right. Ben Moran is back. On a recent trip to Melbourne he stopped in at The Anchor and got a new ride. Be sure to look out for some new media of Ben in the near future. In the mean time scope out some of Ben’s videos from his time spent in Western Australia for the evidence of his originality.
